Arizona Department of Revenue requires you to obtain Arizona Form 5000A from buyers who you do not charge sales tax. The Arizona Resale Certificate (Arizona Form 5000A) documents the purchaser’s agreement to resell the items they have acquired from you and provides written acknowledgement of their assumption of Arizona’s Transaction Privilege Tax.
If you purchase items for resale, you can prepare an Arizona Resale Certificate to present to the vendor at the time of transaction.
Whether you are the seller or the purchaser, preparing Form 5000A in advance is a great way to be proactive and build strong business relationships.
