Tax Deadline Approaching...It's A Good Thing!
April 1, 2016
If you haven't finished your 2015 taxes yet, don't fret! There is still time to get it all done in time, and we are here to help. Here are some important reminders to keep in mind.
For our clients who have come in or sent their tax information to us already and are waiting for some missing information for us to finalize your return, now is the time to start gathering those last pieces of information and sending it to us. You can either send information through your Client Portal here on our website home page, fax it to us or come in and drop it off. With only 2 weeks to go until the deadline, it's important to get your missing information to us as quickly as possible to obtain a timely tax filing.
For our clients who we have already completed your tax return and we are waiting for your signed signature documents to electronically file your returns, we must have your signed forms in our office no later than April 10th, 2016 in order to have a timely filing.
Many of our clients are receiving a tax refund this year. If you are one of the lucky ones, make sure you check our website to track your refund's progress. Under our Client Resources tab, use the Refund Tracker link to take you directly to the IRS website to check the status of your refund.
We have made several improvements this season for the convenience of our clients. Along with your Client Center, we have added a Pay Now link on our website home page for clients to pay their invoices. Just click the Pay Now link and it will take you to a PayPal website where you can use any credit card or debit card you wish. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service.
Please keep in mind that with the tax deadline fast approaching, mailing information to us may not be the best choice. Please use your Client Portal if you have set one up or call our office and Nancy will be happy to help you get started!
We are grateful to all of our wonderful clients and wish you all a very healthy and happy Spring! Please call or email us with any questions you may have. We welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have.
